Rider Real-Time Tracking: For delivery riders on active orders, location is tracked in the foreground and background to broadcast live movement and accurate ETA to the waiting customer.
Background Location & Foreground Services
Required exclusively for delivery personnel to maintain continuous GPS updates when the app is minimized or the screen is locked during an ongoing delivery run. Location streaming terminates automatically upon delivery completion.
Push Notifications (FCM) & Vibration
Used to send immediate order status notifications (Accepted, Preparing Food, Out for Delivery, Delivered), upcoming delivery broadcasts for riders, and shop open/closed announcements.
Network Access & Secure Storage
Used to synchronize live menus, cart items, add-on selections, loyalty coin balances, and saved delivery addresses encrypted locally on your device via SharedPreferences.
2. Information We Collect
When you interact with our platform, we collect the following data:
- Contact Information: Customer name and active mobile phone number.
- Delivery Addresses: Street address text and associated GPS latitude/longitude coordinates.
- Order & Cart Details: Selected food items, customized menu add-ons, subtotal, discounts applied, and payment methods.
- Device Push Tokens: Unique Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device registration tokens to route push notifications.
- Loyalty Records: Total coin balance, coins redeemed for discounts, and coins earned per order.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used strictly for legitimate restaurant operations:
- To prepare, package, and accurately dispatch your food and beverage orders.
- To provide customers with live real-time map tracking and delivery ETA countdowns.
- To manage the digital loyalty coin rewards wallet (10% coin cashback on qualifying orders above ₹100).
- To dispatch transactional WhatsApp receipts and instant app push notifications.
- To verify order legitimacy and prevent fraudulent or out-of-zone delivery submissions.
